"A redwing´s alarm call shatters the silence. Simultaneously a bear appears among the dark trees. There is no cracking of twigs, the great beast seemingly mutating from spirit to flesh and bome. He stands at the edge of trees, rising up on his hindlegs the better to see. His head and shoulders reflect the sky of the light night. Otherwise he blends in perfectly with the dark forest.
